La emisora inició con 1 kilovatio de potencia en antena en la frecuencia 1.490 kilociclos de la amplitud modulada (A.M.) y en sólo tres años, gracias a su labor y cobertura, su potencia fue aumentando hasta los 10 kilovatios.
