Radio Guatapuri, estación H.J.N.S. fue fundada en Valledupar - Cesar - Colombia - Suramérica, el 30 de Agosto de 1.963. La emisora inició con 1 kilovatio de potencia en antena en la frecuencia 1.490 kilociclos de la amplitud modulada (A.M.) y en sólo tres años, gracias a su labor y cobertura, su potencia fue aumentando hasta los 10 kilovatios.
