El Café del Mundo es un proyecto fundado en el año 2007 por Iván Ricardo Diaz Mendivil (@ricardomendivil) radicado en Bogotá y el español Pedro Cantero residente en Barcelona. El espacio que desde un inicio ha tenido como objetivo ofrecer un espacio de encuentro en torno a la música y a la cultura se ha perfilado como en una valiosa alternativa frente a la programación de las radio estaciones convencionales ofreciendo un repertorio musical de catalogo en el cual convergen diferentes sonidos del mundo como el jazz, el flamenco, el bossa nova, el son cubano y el folk.
