It is licensed to Chicago, Illinois and is owned by CBS Radio (one of the largest radio owners and operators in the United States). They did a very interesting promotion once in their history. The radio station promised to always play four songs in a row and once this promise is broken they were willing to pay $10,000 to a person who first noticed it and called them. Within 3 days they issued two checks to their most attentive listeners.
