Radio La Frontera de Temuco tiene un posicionamiento de 65 años en toda la Región de La Araucanía y sus 31 comunas que la componen, más parte de la Octava Región por el norte y de la Décima Región por el sur.
En horarios a partir de las 19:30 hrs., confirmamos cobertura hasta 400 a 500 kilómetros a la redonda, abarcando poblados adyacentes al Lago General Carrera, Puerto Ibáñez, Guadal y Chile Chico. También el valle argentino del Neuquén.

Radio La Frontera A.M., pionera en las comunicaciones del Sur de Chile, fue fundada en Octubre de 1939. En su inauguración, las primeras transmisiones las realizó con un móvil desde un avión, lo cual causó gran sensación en la Región.
Por sus micrófonos han pasado locutores de prestigio nacional e internacional, como Raúl Matta, Palito Candia, Esteban Lob, Julio Martínez.
Entre sus entrevistados hemos podido escuchar a tan connotados personeros como Gabriela Mistral y Pablo Neruda; Jorge Alessandri Rodríguez, Salvador Allende Gossens, Eduardo Frei Montalva, Radomiro Tomic, Ricardo Lagos Escobar, Sergio Onofre Jarpa, Pablo Rodríguez Grez, Jaime Guzmán Errázuriz y Patricio Aylwin Azócar, entre otros.
Y ha sido lugar de encuentro con cantantes como Juan Darienzo, Héctor Varela, Billy Halley y Sus Cometas, Julio Iglesias, Manolo Otero, Horacio Saavedra, Tito Fernández “El Temucano”.
Su programa de debates “Controversia” fue el primero de su tipo que surgió en Chile, tras la apertura democrática, constituyéndose en un puntal histórico de la audiencia de la Región de La Araucanía.
